لَمَّا بَدَا مِنْكَ الْقَبُولْ

وَزُجَّ بِي عَيْنَ الْوُصُولْ
وَ صِرْتُ بِكَ مُؤْنَسَا
وَلَسْتَ مِنْ قَلْبِي تَزُولْ
بَيْنَ الصَّبَاحِ وَ الْمَسَا
اَلنَّظْرَة فِيكَ يَا جَمِيلْ
نَعِيشْ بِهَا عَيْشاً رَغَدْ
أَنْتَ الْمَحَجَّة وَالدَّلِيلْ
مَنْ ذَا يُطِيقْ عَنْكَ الْبِعَادْ
يَا رَاحَةَ الْقَلْبِ الْعَلِيلْ
فيِكَ اجْتَمَعْ كُلُّ الْمُرَادْ
أَوْقَدْتَ فِي قَلْبِي هَوَاك
وَ قُلْتَ لِي إِيَّاكْ تَبُوحْ
أمْ كَيْفَ لِي نَعْشَقْ سِوَاكْ
وَأَنْتَ لِي جِسْمٌ وَرُوحْ
كَيْفَ يَخْفَى نُورُ سَنَاكْ
وَقَدْ بَدَا لِلنَّاسْ يَلُوحْ

Aw qadta fee qalbee hawaak
Wa qulta lee iyyaak tabooh
Am kayfa lee na’shaq siwaak
Wa anta lee jismu wa rooh
Kayfa yakhfa nooru sanaak
Wa qad bada lil naas yalooh
